How do I request whitelist access?

Connect your wallet to https://sempreid.copyrightchains.com. If not whitelisted, an access request screen appears. Fill in the form with your information and reason for testing. Admins review and approve eligible testers within 24-48 hours.

Why do I need to explain my reason for access?

The test environment has limited capacity (100 users). Understanding tester motivations helps admins select diverse users who will provide valuable feedback and test different features. Detailed explanations increase approval chances.

Verification Questions

Is document upload required for higher verification?

Not during the 100-user test phase. The full KYC document system (ID, address proof, selfies) exists but is disabled for testing. Admins manually approve upgrade requests based on your explanation, making testing faster and easier.

Does verification cost money?

No. All verification levels are completely free. You never pay fees at any level - not for creation, not for email verification, not for admin-approved upgrades. Zero cost forever.

How long do upgrade requests take?

Typically 24-48 business hours. Admins review requests during business hours and approve legitimate testing needs. Weekends and holidays may extend the review time.

Does verification expire?

No. Once verified at any level, your status remains permanently unless you violate terms or regulations change. Verification never expires.

Identity Questions

Can I transfer my SempreID to another wallet?

No. SempreID is a soulbound token permanently linked to your wallet address. It cannot be transferred, sold, or traded. If you need to change wallets, contact [email protected] for assistance. Admins may help in special circumstances.

Can I have multiple SempreIDs?

No. Each wallet can have only one SempreID. Each person should have only one. Creating multiple identities violates terms of service and defeats the purpose of verified unique identity.

What if I lose access to my wallet?

If you have your 12-word recovery phrase, you can restore your wallet and regain access. If you lose both password AND recovery phrase, access is lost permanently. Always protect and backup your recovery phrase on paper in secure locations.

Can I delete my SempreID?

No. Identity credentials are permanent by design. You can request suspension, but complete deletion is not possible. This permanence ensures authenticity and prevents identity fraud.

Technical Questions

Do I need to add a specific network to my wallet?

No. The platform works with your wallet address regardless of which network is active in MetaMask. No need to configure networks or add custom settings. Simply connect wallet - everything works automatically.

Why does the platform work with any network active?

SempreID only needs your wallet address for identity verification. The specific blockchain network doesn't matter for authentication. Background processes handle all technical details transparently.

What if I forget which wallet I used?

Connect each of your wallets to the platform one at a time. The platform immediately tells you if a wallet has a SempreID. Your profile will display if the wallet is registered.

Privacy & Security Questions

Can administrators see my documents?

Yes. Authorized administrators review documents for verification purposes. Documents are stored securely with strict access controls. During the test phase, document upload is disabled, so no documents are collected.

What information is public?

Only your verification level appears in public blockchain records. Your name, address, email, and documents never appear publicly. Services only see your verification level, not personal details.

Is my recovery phrase stored by SempreID?

Absolutely not. Your recovery phrase never leaves MetaMask. SempreID never asks for, stores, or has access to your recovery phrase or private keys. Anyone asking for these is a scammer.

Future & After Testing

What happens after the test phase?

Successful testers retain their SempreID and verification levels. Full document upload may be enabled for new users joining after testing. Capacity will expand beyond 100 users. Your early participation is valuable!

Will my test data be deleted?

No. Your SempreID and verification level are permanent. Test accounts transition to production seamlessly. You'll keep all your verification progress.
