Access & Authentication Issues
Cannot access Dashboard
Symptoms: Dashboard shows "Access Denied" or redirects away
Solution:
- Verify you have SempreID token in your wallet
- Connect MetaMask to the correct network (Chain ID 1199)
- Ensure your wallet is whitelisted (100+ user limit)
- Clear browser cache and reconnect wallet
SempreID not recognized
Symptoms: System doesn't detect your SempreID
Solution:
- Verify SempreID token is in the connected wallet
- Check token balance is greater than 0
- Ensure verification level is sufficient (Level 0 minimum)
- Contact support if token should exist but isn't detected
Registration Issues
Transaction Failed
Symptoms: Registration submission fails with error
Solution:
- Verify all required fields are filled correctly
- Check that wallet addresses are valid Ethereum addresses
- Ensure percentages add up to 100%
- Wait a few minutes and try again (admin wallet may be busy)
Cannot find musical work for recording
Symptoms: Dropdown doesn't show your musical work
Solution:
- Ensure musical work was successfully registered first
- Check Explorer to verify work exists on blockchain
- Refresh the Dashboard page
- Allow 1-2 minutes for indexing after musical work registration
Work not appearing in portfolio
Symptoms: Registered work doesn't show in your portfolio
Solution:
- Wait 1-2 minutes for blockchain indexing
- Refresh the Dashboard page
- Check Explorer with the transaction hash
- Verify you're connected with the correct wallet
Royalty & Payment Issues
Royalties not received
Symptoms: Expected royalty payment didn't arrive
Solution:
- Verify your wallet address is correct in the registration
- Check royalty percentage allocation
- Review blockchain transaction on Explorer
- Allow time for smart contract distribution (usually instant)
Incorrect royalty amount
Symptoms: Received amount doesn't match expectations
Solution:
- Verify the 16/84 split (16% to composers/lyricists, 84% to performers/producers)
- Check how many creators share your category
- Review the registration details in Explorer
- Calculate: (Total payment × Category %) ÷ Number of creators
Technical Issues
Network connection errors
Symptoms: "Network error" or "RPC error" messages
Solution:
- Verify MetaMask is connected to Chain ID 1199
- Check RPC URL: https://rpc.copyrightchains.com
- Try switching networks and back
- Clear MetaMask cache and reconnect
Pending transactions stuck
Symptoms: Transaction shows "Pending" for too long
Solution:
- Remember: Admin wallet signs transactions, not you
- Wait up to 5 minutes for admin signature
- Refresh the Dashboard to check status
- Contact support if stuck for >10 minutes
