Profile management and verification upgrades

Accessing Your Profile

  1. Visit https://sempreid.copyrightchains.com
  2. Connect your wallet (if not already connected)
  3. Click "Profile" in the navigation menu
  4. Your complete profile information appears

Profile Information Displayed:

  • Wallet Address - Your unique identifier (never changes)
  • Verification Level - Current status with colored badge
  • Email Address - Shown if verified (Level 1+)
  • Registration Date - When SempreID was created
  • Token ID - Your unique SempreID token number
  • Status - Whether identity is active

Verification Level Badges

Your profile displays a colored badge indicating your current verification level:

Level 0: BASIC

Blue badge - Wallet signature verification

Level 1: STANDARD

Green badge - Email verified

Level 2: ENHANCED

Orange badge - Admin approved

Level 3: PROFESSIONAL

Purple badge - Highest level

Upgrading to Level 1 (STANDARD)

Email verification for interactive features - instant upgrade.

Enter Email Address

  1. Open your profile page
  2. Find "Verification Levels" section
  3. Click "Upgrade to Standard" button
  4. Enter your email address
  5. Re-enter email to confirm (prevents typos)
  6. Click "Submit"

Check Email for Code

  1. Check your email inbox (and spam folder)
  2. Find verification email from SempreID
  3. Copy the 6-digit verification code

Note: Code expires in 15 minutes. Request a new code if it expires.

Confirm Verification

  1. Return to profile page
  2. Enter the 6-digit code
  3. Click "Verify Email"
  4. Level upgrades to STANDARD instantly!

Upgrading to Level 2 (ENHANCED)

Administrator approval required - typically 24-48 hours.

Step 1: Submit Request

  1. Open your profile page
  2. Click "Upgrade to Enhanced" button
  3. Modal appears asking for reason
  4. Enter why you need Enhanced verification
    • Example: "Need access to copyright registration features"
    • Example: "Require enhanced verification for creator tools"
  5. Click "Submit Request"

Step 2: Admin Review

Administrator reviews your request:

  • Request appears in admin dashboard
  • Admin reviews within 24-48 hours
  • Admin approves or rejects based on justification

Step 3: Automatic Upgrade

Upon approval:

  • Compliance level updates in database automatically
  • Refresh your profile to see Level 2: ENHANCED badge
  • Access to enhanced features is enabled

Upgrading to Level 3 (PROFESSIONAL)

Same process as Level 2 with higher requirements:

Professional Upgrade Process

  1. Click "Upgrade to Professional" on profile
  2. Enter detailed reason for Professional access
  3. Submit request for review
  4. Wait for admin approval (24-48 hours)
  5. Automatic upgrade when approved
  6. Refresh to see Level 3: PROFESSIONAL badge

Tip: Provide specific, detailed reasons for Professional verification. Explain what services you need access to and why.

Checking Request Status

Track your upgrade requests directly from your profile:

  1. Visit your profile page
  2. Submitted requests appear under "Verification Levels"
  3. Status shown as:
    • Pending - Awaiting admin review
    • Approved - Completed (level upgraded)
    • Rejected - Denied with reason

Understanding Request Denials

If your upgrade request is rejected:

Common Rejection Reasons

  • Insufficient explanation - Need more detail about why you need the level
  • Premature request - Haven't tested lower level features yet
  • Duplicate request - Already have a pending request

What to do if rejected:

  1. Check admin notes for specific reason
  2. Address the concerns mentioned
  3. Submit new request with more detail
  4. Provide additional explanation of your testing needs
