Before You Begin
Requirements:
- Beta Access: Accepted into v9.3 beta testing program
- Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge (latest version)
- Network: Stable internet connection
- Optional: v9.2 account (existing users get enhanced features)
Beta Software Notice
v9.3 is beta software. Features may change, and bugs are expected. Do not use for production decisions.
Step 1: Access Beta Dashboard
Navigate to Dashboard
Open your browser and go to: beta.copyrightchains.com/v9.3
Login Credentials: Provided in your beta acceptance email
First-Time Setup
- Enter beta username and password
- Accept beta terms and NDA
- Complete optional profile setup
- Watch 2-minute onboarding tutorial (optional)
Step 2: Your First Track Verification
Select a Track
- Click "Track Selection" dropdown at top of dashboard
- Type track name or artist name to filter
- Select track from list
- Track details display below dropdown
Tip: Start with a well-known human artist (e.g., "Flowers" by Miley Cyrus) to see expected results
Run Verification
- Click blue "Verify Track" button
- Progress indicator appears (5-30 seconds)
- Watch real-time status updates
- Results display when complete
Understanding Results
Results Include:
- Platform Likelihood: % probability for each AI platform or Human
- Confidence Score: How certain the system is (0-100%)
- Risk Assessment: Copyright, Legal, Ownership, Market risks
- Audio Features: Technical analysis of audio characteristics
- Metadata: Enriched data from Spotify, YouTube, Deezer
Step 3: Interpret Risk Scores

Likelihood of infringement or unclear ownership
Legal Risk
Potential legal complications or disputes
Ownership Risk
Unclear or disputed ownership rights
Market Risk
Commercial viability and platform compliance
Risk Levels:
- 5-20%: Low risk (safe for most uses)
- 21-40%: Moderate risk (proceed with caution)
- 41-60%: High risk (investigation recommended)
- 61-80%: Very high risk (avoid without verification)
- 81-100%: Critical risk (likely AI-generated or fraudulent)
Step 4: Explore Additional Features
View Audio Analysis
Click "Audio Features" section to see:
- Spectral analysis (centroid, rolloff, flatness)
- Temporal features (tempo, zero-crossing rate)
- Timbral characteristics (MFCCs)
- Dynamic range and energy
Check Metadata Enrichment
Scroll to "Metadata" section for:
- Spotify data (release date, popularity, label)
- YouTube metrics (views, likes, comments)
- Deezer information (rank, availability)
- Artist followers and verification status
Export Results
Click "Export Report" button to download:
- PDF: Professional report for sharing
- JSON: Technical data for integration
- CSV: Spreadsheet-compatible format
Step 5: Provide Feedback
In-App Feedback
Click orange "Feedback" button (bottom-right corner):
- Rate the accuracy of results (1-5 stars)
- Report any bugs or issues
- Suggest feature improvements
- Flag incorrect results
Weekly Surveys
Complete weekly feedback survey (email every Friday):
- 5-10 minutes to complete
- Questions about usability, accuracy, features
- Required for beta participation

Best Practices
- Test diverse tracks: human artists, known AI, ambiguous cases
- Report false positives/negatives immediately

Quick Troubleshooting
Verification stuck at "Analyzing audio..."
Some tracks lack audio previews. System will complete with metadata-only analysis. Wait 30 seconds or refresh page.
"Track not found" error
Database may need refresh. Wait 5 seconds and retry. If persistent, report via feedback button.
Results seem incorrect
Beta software is still learning. Rate the result (thumbs down) and provide details in feedback form. This helps improve accuracy.
Page won't load
Clear browser cache (Ctrl+Shift+R / Cmd+Shift+R). If issue persists, contact [email protected]
